Hyderabad’s Necklace Road reflected on the waters of the Hussain Sagar, which also houses a huge statue of Gautam Buddha in the lake’s center.

Nice.. like how the lights form straight lines in the reflection on the water (and in the photo shot) and the lights at the distance look the midpoint where the earth and sky meet. :P Anyways surely seems like a nice place to walk around.

and is that statue lit from surrounding lamps from beneath or from the inside? Very unique, this. Got to visit Hyderabad, when I get time and cash;

That’s a monolithic statue so its definitely lit from the outside, and quite brilliantly so. Yeah Hyderabad is definitely worth visiting at least once.
