Single–digit temperatures, light rains all day long, strong winds… you get the idea. Semester 2 begins on Monday and will hopefully break the monotonicity.

I can't believe i'm saying it.. But lucky you! starting your next sem.. i wish my next sem would start.. but sadly not for another 3 months! and i don't even mind experiencing single digit weather…
Anyways nice capture of the rain drops on the grass.. Looks pretty :)

For a moment there I was like "say? Has he gone crazy?" :). Nope I haven't seen it yet.

Rashmi, the grass is always greener on the other side, over and over!

Do you have one of those cool view–finder extensions? If you don't, you seem to have done something only 1/10 pros can do.

This photo is really vibrant. Great contrast, amazing and probably one of your best(even though I'm probably not qualified to say this).

Is your lens automatic?

Nah !! This is certainly not even in ur top 105 pics, c'mon Nandkumar … I somehow don't like the pic not coz' of quality or something …… but because when i look at it, it somehow takes my creativity away from me, showing the monotonicity of things, rather i wud put it this as a very structured and methodical kind of pic ……… making it dreay and ho–hum …… but i don't like the pic at all

That's fine Tarun. You don't like it, I do.

I somehow don't understand how the picture's quality isn't good. It's amazing.

Thanks Abhishek. I like the freshness in the pic a lot too.
I don't have any view–finder extension and I just bent low on the ground to get this shot :). What exactly do you mean by an automatic lens?

Tarun, this is a very common angle indeed. I was just trying to use the droplets on the grass to make the shot vibrant and contrast them against the dull benches.

Automatic focusing. Is that any clearer. Professionals prefer to handle the focusing themselves without trusting the software. Most D-type lenses do not have automatic focusing which reduces flexibility.

Rungta said.. Reply

Oh that. My lens has both auto and manual focusing and I used the auto focus for this one.

Monotonicity? I can't even say that. I usually stick to 'monotony', monotonicity makes a better pun.
